Today’s Frizzleday Stream is called Brunch Crunch from the Path of Totality album. Path of Totality chronicles a day in the life. Brunch Crunch is the late breakfast time of day. “I’m gonna find some brunch, I’m gonna eat it up!” The song follows the songs Sunrise, A New Awakening, and Imaginary Friend, before launching into the greater nourishment of the day. Not just food, but knowledge, wisdom, and humanity. You see, Path of Totality is also the chronicle of a bigger picture of life. So, Brunch Crunch falls in that early-middle range of life when we are hungry and ready to produce, and perform as our best selves. Yes, I will get that knowledge, wisdom, and humanity as fuel for my best life of lives.

Brunch Crunch also shows the powerful influence that classic latin based rock and soul bands like War (especially in the harmonica – very Low Rider-ish), Tower of Power, Santana, and El Chicano, have had on my musical development.
